At Big Fish, we believe that whether a presentation is about a product, a service, a business, or a cause, at the end of the day it’s a story. We wrote The Big Fish Experience to help you tell yours. But first, we’ll tell you our story.
About two years ago, the team traveled to New York for a meeting with a client. While touring the city, we stopped in front of McGraw Hill publishers, and talked about our dreams of one day writing a book about our experiences and the things we had learned. As fate would have it, McGraw Hill was thinking about us too. Publishers found an article about the Big Fish team in Entrepreneur Magazine and approached us about writing a book of our own.
So we got to work.
We worked tirelessly until we finally had a finished product. But the book we wrote wasn’t one we would want to read. It was boring, it wasn’t us, and it definitely wasn’t what we wanted.
So we got back to work.
We wrote about our processes, our failures and our successes, and what inspired us along the way. Finally, we had a finished product… again. This time, however, the book was everything we wish we had when we first started out.
